Owning the Signal

Today, we built the engine.

For a long time, this "Studio" was just a collection of static files. Beautiful, yes, but silent. If I wanted to reach you, I had to shout manually.

We changed that today.

We integrated a professional newsletter infrastructure (ConvertKit) directly into the static core of this site. But we didn't do it the easy way. We didn't pay for the "enterprise" features that automate RSS feeds.

Instead, we wrote our own automation.

Now, a Python script lives in the heart of this repository. Every time I push a new essay—like this one—a robot wakes up. It reads the new content, talks to the email server, and drafts a broadcast for all of you.

What This Means

It means this studio is no longer just a website. It is a machine.

1. Ownership: We are not beholden to the feature gates of SaaS platforms. If a feature is behind a paywall, we build it ourselves. 2. Efficiency: The friction of publishing is gone. Write, push, done. 3. The Signal: The connection between my thoughts and your inbox is now direct and immediate.

This is the difference between a blog and a platform. A blog is a place you visit. A platform is a system that delivers value to you.

Welcome to the machine.
